Charging Station Policies

Purpose: The charging station is for patrons to charge phones and other small devices during library hours.

Equipment: ChargeTech Charging station with the cords.

Location: First Floor--next to the printer by the North Stairwell heading towards the Lower Level. There is also a small charging station avialbe on the Lower Level.

Users: Students, faculty, staff, and community members

Cost: There is currently no charge for this service.

Avaliablity: The charging station is available from the time the library opens until it closes. Usage will be on a first come, first served basis. If a desired cable is in use, you do not have permission to unplug another patron’s device--even if it is fully charged.

Usage Policies and Restrictions:

  1. Benner Library is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property.
  2. Keep food and drinks off the charging station.
  3. Turn off your ringer/sound or set to vibrate.
  4. Stay nearby. Keep your devices in view.
  5. The charging station will be cleared at closing and unattended devices will be taken to the lost & found at the Circulation Desk.
  6. Benner Library reserves the right to modify this policy as well as restrict or end usage of the charging station at any time.
